One of the hardest things I had to get used to when my daughter first began walking was how often she would bump, fall, run, or dive, into the edge of the coffee table. Read Designing With Kids In Mind for an understanding of how much more we have to think about as parents. Eventually for Lane and I, we just got rid of our coffee table all together. It was just easier.
I’ve since decided to bring it back because I cannot stand having this big empty space where our table once was. This large round coffee table has such smooth edges doesn’t it? Oh and it’s so very pretty.
This is both easy to clean and safe for your children. Sometimes it’s not easy finding a squared coffee table we feel safe with. This ottoman does it all and can still be a place for your children to play with ease.

Want to know the best part about this gorgeous hammered table? It doubles as a storage bin. Imagine all of the toys that can fit inside this beauty.
This is a soft ottoman that works just as nicely as any coffee table. I appreciate how large it is, as well as how flat the surface is. I mean they’re gonna need a place to play right?
