Whether you’re excited to celebrate Valentines Day with someone, or want it to disappear quickly, you have to accept that there are some pretty cute aspects to this day. As with just about every holiday, there are some staples that we think of instantly. Myself, I think about those little conversation hearts. I think they’re oober cute, and I love the bazaar messages that come with each piece. However their taste is awful. Really! They are not good, and if you like them I’d love for you to explain to me why this is. Clearly I am missing something.
Still, they are pretty cute. So I thought I’d share some other great ways to enjoy these little guys, without ever having to endure the pain of eating them.
Martha Stewart clearly agrees that these candies are beautiful to look at, but needn’t be consumed. I think they are adorable in this vase with flowers.
Giving anything out on Valentines is kind of guaranteed to be great as long as you give it using these boxes from Etsy.
Sugar Tot Designs has these free printables that make for great Valentines decor.
Make your own conversation heart chalk board. Oh man I can come up with some ridiculous things to write on here. Great idea from A Night Owl.
Okay so this is the only acceptable way these candies should be eaten. If you throw them out and make cakes instead. I love these in particular from The Sweetest Occasion.
Do you have kids? I know I am always trying to find a great gift idea that doesnt involve candy. These heart shaped crayons are fun and they will totally love them. -Ivy Lane Designs
Last, but certainly not least, are these hand knitted conversation heart coasters from Etsy. Even the container it comes in is flippin adorable.by
